For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Proverbs 8:11l
I've been thinking a lot about Wisdom lately. The older I get the more I realize how much I need it in order to s top the vicious cycle of repeating a lot of the same mistakes. There's just something unfunny about taking the same test over and over that gives me an excess of headaches, heartaches, and backaches. I mean, the puck has got to stop somewhere, or I might just plain'ol loose what's left of my sanity. Thus, I either need to become wise about some things real fast, or load up on plenty of Tylenol, Bengay, and Psychiatry sessions.
A few months ago I had a dream that I met Wisdom. She was intimidatingly tall, bright white, and beautiful.
I didn't recognize her due to my inability to keep a clear mind and peaceful heart with respect to the goings-on of life events and circumstances but there she stood letting me know that she's available, not leaving, and desiring to be pursued, heard, and communed with.
All who make the decision to pursue her first will find happiness and experience life with an inner joy and peace daily she exclaims. And she seeks to enrich you on every level of the human experience possible, and desires nothing but goodness for you, she says. So, in light of those claims and others, I think I might take her up on her offer of courting her, hanging out with her, and becoming a student of hers.
In view of world events, today's culture, and my personal life there seems to be a lack of individuals who are skillful in acquiring a broad spectrum of knowledge while diving deep and mining for understanding distilling precious nuggets of Truth in order to know what to do in a world gone bananas.
The culture of the day enjoys celebrating foolishness, simple mindedness, and the inability to think and act critically setting the course of our culture for moral bankruptcy and hard times.
Those who develop and cultivate a relationship with Wisdom will live like Kings, Queens, and Nobles in a world designed and destined for slavery on all levels of existence. Understand that this is just one man's humble opinion, but this is how I see it.
In short, have fun, enjoy life, and laugh a lot while pursuing, communing with, and basking in the presence of Wisdom. She won't leave you, forsake you, or let you down in a world that's design to use you up and toss you to the side.
May His Face Shine on You and give You Peace.
