Given the state of American health today, I thought it prescient to take a look at my own health and examine where I'm falling short. I've noticed that I've become slack in a few areas and need to tighten up some screws here and there. With the recent overhaul of our healthcare system, I feel a sense of urgency to get as many ducks in a row as possible before the much debatable changes are put into full implementation. I don't think that the anticipated changes are going to be exactly what we where hoping for given that the nation is bogged down with debt, many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, and over half the population will be obese by 2030. Instead of the "Cadillac plan," I perceive that we'll be getting the economy package. As quoted, the greatest wealth is health and it's to our benefit to source good quality advice on how to achieve and maintain good health. Here are four good tips on how to do just that--achieve optimal health.
Avoid deadly emotions! -- Deadly emotions like anger, frustration, worry, anxiety, and fear can wreak havoc on our health and well-being. It's vital that we learn how to process or avoid all together these deadly emotions in that they are very dangerous and damaging to our health. Our bodies, mind, and spirit our all affected by our emotional lives.
Incorporate the use of proactive therapies! -- Become proactive verse reactive about your health and implement proactive therapies like massage, listening to good soothing music, visiting a chiropractor on a frequent basis, using essential oils in aroma therapy, and getting adequate rest. These activities will help keep you out of the doctors office and in the game of life!
Reduce toxicity in environment! -- Reduce toxicity as much as possible in your life. There are health damaging chemicals, substances, and people that must be dealt with immediately in order to reduce the toxic load. We are designed to only take so much and today we are almost born at max capacity with regard to the toxic load on our bodies, soul, and spirit. Look and examine all labels and inserts of various products, and the intentions and motivations of those closes to you. All forms of poison should be discarded and removed. Toxicity isn't good for long term optimal health.
Live with purpose and prayer! -- Accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, find out His will for your life, talk with Him on a regular basis, and live with purpose and passion! Through Christ the other tips are brought into proper perspective. Without Christ the other tips don't matter much. We need the saving power of His blood in order to live full and abundant lives that carries us into New Jerusalem! May the grace of our lord shine upon you and give you peace!
