Pray for me please.
Moments later a reply came (you have to read this in the voice of a Joyful Wise Romanian Woman),
I just saw this...I'm praying right now!
Call upon The Lord, and He will answer you. He will be with you in trouble, He will deliver you, and honor you. With long life will He satisfy you and show you His salvation! Amen! - adopted from Psalms 91:15-16 As I was searching God's word, and thinking of you, my eyes fell on this verse from the Amplified Version: Psalms 119: 9 - "How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [ on himself ] according to Your word [ conforming his life to it ]". Look for verses that apply to your situation/challenge and pray them over yourself...Be strong in The Lord, my friend!
Further more she said,
When I was going through depression, my body couldn't take the medication that the doctor prescribed, I would puke all day long, lol, so I had to fight it...in two; The Lord and I.
I replied(mind you I never told what to pray about or why, but she was right on target),
Much thanks and appreciation for these words of wisdom. These verses and words have been right on target, and I will have plenty of time to meditate on them...here at work.
As is often the case in life, we have the tendency to get off track, fall down, and lose our way with respect to what's been destined for us by our Creator, The Most High. Life has a way of throwing everything including the kitchen sink at us in order to shake us up, and take us out. And given that we're human, make big, messy, and ugly mistakes, it's essential that we stay connected to a circle of like minded individuals who can help you get back up and moving towards your destined end.
Our life's journey consist of many valleys and mountaintops that weren't meant to be travailed alone. We're social creatures by design, and it's detrimental to each and everyone us no matter the situation, or circumstance to have a tribe, or community on which you can call on in times of need. Or the likely hood for survival in an otherwise cruel world becomes slim to none.
The world in which we live is becoming increasingly hostile, tough, and Darwinian in my view, and I believe there's safety, accountability, and strength in numbers that can't be contended with as an individual.
Given that I'm an introvert by nature, I've had to develop and hone my social skills greatly in order to be able to be an asset to the circles in which I dwell so that I can reap the benefits and rewards of my associations without which my life would be boring, stale, and unfulfilled. In addition, I would be left vulnerable to the hordes of malicious elements that thrive on lawlessness, injustice, and fear.
No man is an island, and it's to our benefit to have and maintain relationships with people who have connections with The Most High, forged communities of love, and have your best interest at heart so that in times when You're down for the count they can help you back up, get brushed off, and sent along your merry way. Also, they will be able to hold you accountable for your actions, keep you in check, and see and provide insight into your life that you're blind to. A multitude of eyes and ears far out power the capacity of just one set of each. Humans are like Transformers in that we can combine into one big giant Transformer. We're powerful as individuals, but our potential increases exponentially the more we connect physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually with others.
In short, as you go about your daily business, try to be more cautious, aware, and purposeful about your connections in that when you connect with others it could be to your benefit, or detriment. When you connect with others you are aligning yourself on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual planes of human existence. You meld, and become part of a group, hive, or community guided by a communal purpose and will.
