He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Psalms 147:3
One thing that I've noticed over the course of my life with respect to people, health, and emotions is that there seems to be a lot of broken and un-mended hearts walking around.
Life has a way of knocking us around a bit with regard to our hearts and emotions breaking, cutting, and traumatizing you in the process. Of course this has been going on since time memorial and is a part of the human experience. You live long enough and your heart will get smashed, crashed, and burned--many times! Relationships come and go, expectations are disappointed and unmet, and negativity sometimes gets a "Bull Dog's" hold on us at times all contributing to the pounding and fractioning of the heart that seems to be incapable of repair. The good news is that this is not the case and there is relief for those who are willing to go through the painful process of healing.
I guess the question is are you ready and willing?
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:3
The good news is there's healing for your heart found in relationship with The Almighty through His Son. The not so good news is that this process can be painful, scary, and involves your participation of being willing to let go of pride, the humbling yourself, and letting The Spirit of God move in your life.
Often times healing can be a painful process, and you must be ready and willing to endure the pain in order to relish the pleasure of restoration and complete healing. We often get comfortable, addicted, and well adjusted to the pain and poison of holding on to bitterness, un-forgiveness, and anger that we lose site to the fact that we're not well.
Be encouraged, inspired, and moved to know that when you're willing to let go of the un-forgiveness, past hurts, and the trauma assaulted on your heart by whatever situation, or circumstance endured in your life that there's healing for your soul found through the acceptance of total peace and restoration by The Spirit of God. All you have to do is simply say, "I receive!"
It's just that simple. Let the Spirit of The Almighty into your life in whatever capacity you're able and begin the process of having not only your heart restored, but your whole being of body, soul, and spirit.
Life's too short to live with anger, un-forgiveness, negativity, and frustration, and to not enjoy it as much as you possibly can. Thus, be encouraged to know that your Creator is knocking at the door of your heart wanting to take up residence in you, and begin the process restoration.
May His Face shine on you and give you peace!
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15
