I recently took a trip to the ol'local movie theater to check out the fourth installment in the Transformers' movie series, and boy was I disappointed. I really don't know why I expected to be entertained all that much, but I somehow thought that I was gonna get my hard earned dollars worth with meaningful dialog, a thought provoking plot, and never before seen screenplay that would keep my eyes glued to the big screen with childlike amazement this go around. Boy, was I expectedly disappointed. I mean, there's only so much shapeshifting, mindless explosions, and elementary level plot formulation one can take.
Upon exiting the theater, I had many complaints, but I decided to keep my list short and talk about my top five. Here's my top five complaints about Age of Extinction, and why I think you should save your hard earned privately owned backed by nothing Federal Reserve IOUs:
In short, other than a few glimmering moments, you'd be better off waiting till this one pops up in your local Redbox. I give it one star for the upgrade to Optimus Prime and Megatron, and the debut of the Dinobots. Other than that, "Transform" your money into an investment account versus the Box Office!
