Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Jeremiah 20:9
In looking at the state of affairs and prevailing attitudes towards Christianity today, it seems that the enemy is coming in on all sides like a flood. Glance over the headlines of the day and a very noticeable pattern or trend is apparent. It's no longer popular to be a Bible believing Christian these days, and can even get you killed. The body of the called out ones is coming increasingly under attack. You can't pray in this school anymore Mr Jesus lover! You can't say Jesus there Mrs. Neanderthal fairy tale believer! Hey preacher, please don't be speaking about sinning, breaking commandments, and living a holy and righteousness lifestyle aight! The Bible is not welcomed here in the pulpit either! so on and so forth. The name of Jesus Christ is becoming a name associated with polarization, division, and intolerance. The world is in the process of unification and we're beginning to be viewed as the ones standing in the way of progress when were actually working to save souls and pull as many as we can out of the coming fire that can't be quenched!
We love humanity, want to see souls saved from damnation, and relish innocence, justice, peace, and love. We seek to live in harmony with our fellow man and don't wish evil on anyone. We love to do good unto others, and work to treat others as we want to be treated. In the current state of affairs, evil has hijacked the controls of society, hates all that is good, and is working to bring about the destruction of the called out ones. Hang on and buckle up!
We're living in tough times and it's apparent that tougher times are scheduled to come knocking on our doors sooner than any of us want. We need the Spirit of the living God to empower us to operate with authority in a world that's gone plum crazy and given over wholesale to lawlessness. In order to resist the evil one, stand firm in the faith, and operate with power and authority, as well as live in victory conquering sin, we need and must have the Holy Spirit!
The Holy Spirit is our teacher, comforter, and sustainer of life. The Holy Spirit is God dwelling on the inside of His called out ones leading and instructing them in their walk of salvation. The Holy Spirit will give you insight and understanding about the Scriptures that no seminary can teach. It will train and instruct you in this journey called life that no self-help book can instill. It will comfort you in situations and circumstances that others would deem unbearable. It will help sustain you and provide stamina in the various storms of life that many have found to be unlivable. It will show you the heart of God and confirm His love for you and let you know that there is more to this world than what the scoffers would have you believe. We definitely aren't alone on this planet. If you're not getting proper instructions and guidance on how to navigate and live than you are leaving yourself vulnerable to the whims and attacks of a fallen cherub. The fallen cherub, the devil, walks about as roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Kill, steal, and destroy is the name of his game! By deception is the method to his madness!
With all the evil, corruption, and trouble that's running amok in the world today, it's essential that we make sure that we stay clean, and without blemish before the Father ensuring that we provide a nice temple in which He can dwell. We must have His Spirit in order to be considered one of His. Those who have His Spirit will get up at the last trump to meet Him in the air! We are headed for tough times and it behooves us to make sure that our spiritual houses are in order so that we may stand. Put down the spiritual sugary, caffeinated, and chemically concocted death designed beverage, and drink water from the well that never runs dry! May the grace of Jesus Christ be with you always!
