And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:16-17
Is it me, or does it seem like everybody has a tattoo of some sort these days?! The marginalization of tattoos has ceased, and it's now seen as mainstream, vogue, and acceptable. Tattoos aren't just for your local biker gang anymore, but grandma might have one, professional athletes are sporting them more openly, and even your kindergarten teacher might have a "tramp stamp." On the service, this may seem harmless and of little consequence, but from a Biblical perspective this isn't the case.
Tattoos aren't innocent, harmless, or without consequence in that it affects the body, soul, and spirit of a man. God commands His people to not be like the other nations, and steer clear of marking the body, modifying the body, and making cuts in the body. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28 The body is the temple of God. And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Corinthians 6:16 And He likes His vessels to be like He created them to be. These things have spiritual consequences that can lead to a multitude of issues and problems like demon possession, the changing of DNA, and lead to spiritual bondage the likes of which only the Lord Jesus Christ can free you from.
Tattoos are like gang signs for demons and act as a sign showing who you belong to. They also lock the one being tatooed into a mentally frozen state at the point of recieving the tattoo, and in today's world, is known as the best way to vaccinate and alter DNA verses the commonly used single hypodermic needle.
Tattoos are not for the body of called out ones, and it's our duty to steer clear of the fruits of the world. We are not to be like the world and are to come out from amonst them. Flee Babylon, for she is fallen, fallen! If you have tattoos, then repent for participating in such an occultic blood sacrifical act and ask the Lord to break that chain. The Bible is clear. When He says don't do something then it's best not to do it because His commands are instrucitons of love. God is trying to protect us, not take away our fun, so to speak!
