Yesterday's color pretty much summed up my mood. My Louisville cardinals took an L against those Kensucky Wildcats. *sigh* ...but at least I looked nice. I believe in the saying, "When you look good, you feel good," and I'll admit that Blue isn't that bad of a color....WHEN YOU WEAR IT RIGHT! (Minus all the UK mess) So, if you're feeling down, or blue, do something for yourself that you love to do! (I should make that into a song!)
Doing what you love helps to lighten any mood, and in the process can help you to reflect on what you're dealing with. You will soon realize that the Joy that you have, and that the God that you serve is bigger than any and everything, and that acknowledgment in itself glorifies God. Choose to be happy today!
And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:1-2 -- In the bitterness of not be able to bare a child, Hannah realized that the God she served was/is bigger than her problems. She went and worshipped God, and was blessed because of it. In her moment of feeling "blue," she worshiped God anyway, and left before His presence with the blessing of knowing that she would have a child! 1 Samuel 2:1-10 is the song of her rejoicing before the Lord for the blessing that He bestowed upon her!
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
